Police are searching for a black BMW with Connecticut license plates that struck a pedestrian and fled the area in Peekskill.

The incident occurred around 9 a.m. Thursday at Washington and Franklin streets.

Peekskill police are not releasing any further information, including the condition of the person struck, other than the incident is under investigation.
